What Makes our Trips Unique

Next Step Travel (NST) provides unparalleled local access. By globe-trotting with an insider’s look and perspective, NST is unlike any other travel program out there. Our purpose is to show you the world how a Peace Corps Volunteer would travel: getting off the beaten path and exploring all there is to offer.

Witnessing Service in Action

To the extent possible, all of our trips try to engage with the Peace Corps community in-country—witnessing Volunteers in action. If Peace Corps is not present in the country, we do our best to engage with other NGOs and community-based organizations that might be of interest to our community.

Connection with the Peace Corps Community

Travelers have consistently shared that one of the best—and most surprising—aspects of Next Step Travel is the people: Returned Peace Corps Volunteers are some of the most adventurous, free-spirited, and fun travelers you are likely to find. Enjoy the camaraderie of kindred spirits as you explore a new corner of the world together.

Why Partner with Next Step Travel?

  • Advertising and Promotion Support: NPCA assists in advertising and promoting tours to the greater Peace Corps Community. We connect partnered companies with RPCVs interested in the tour and facilitate the registration process.
  • Affordable Pricing: Tour pricing ranges from lower mid-range to lower luxury, depending on location and demand. We aim to offer a wide range of tours to accommodate our diverse membership.

NPCA connects partnered companies with RPCVs interested in the tour and facilitates the registration process, collecting crucial data such as passport information and numbers through a dedicated registration portal.

For all of this, we collect a minimal percentage of the tour profits per individual.

The pricing for the tours can be anywhere from lower mid-range to lower luxury, depending on the location and the demand, inquiry, and promotion time needed to reach and build interest and registrants. We aim to offer a wide range of tours as our members are varied.

Our travelers consistently appreciate the camaraderie of kindred spirits, as Returned Peace Corps Volunteers are known for their adventurous, free-spirited, and fun nature.

What NPCA Looks for in a Partnership:

The following are key considerations the National Peace Corps Association looks for when partnering with tour companies. NPCA is a small non-profit with limited staff and capacity, which is why we partner with tourism companies to help us provide adventure and excitement to our members.

  • Seeking a turn-key travel company and package.
  • Prioritizing safety and stability and risk mitigation experience.
  • Partnering with companies or individuals associated with tour and eco travel companies that traditionally provide a full package including professional guides, accommodations, transportation, and buffer days to accommodate late or canceled flights.

Join us in providing adventure and excitement to our members while supporting the mission of the National Peace Corps Association. Let’s create unforgettable experiences together!
