About RPCVs@HRSA
RPCVs@HRSA is a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) employee resource group (ERG) for Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) and others who have or are interested in working or living abroad or volunteer service.
Mission:
To further the mission of HRSA by recruiting, supporting, and leveraging the unique skills and experiences of RPCVs.
Goals:
- Recruit diverse, skilled professionals to HRSA through increasing awareness of the non-competitive eligibility hiring authority, sharing the work experiences of RPCVs at HRSA, and participating in recruiting events.
- Serve as a resource for RPCVs at HRSA for issues unique to the RPCV experience.
- Leverage RPCVs’ experiences, skills, and knowledge of issues related to underserved communities, translation of policy into action, community mobilization, adaptability, resourcefulness, innovation, cultural competency, language skills, and culture-specific skills.
