About Returned Peace Corps Volunteers at Yale
Returned Peace Corps Volunteers at Yale came together to help promote the third goal of the Peace Corps: To help promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans. The group will focus on sharing the culture from our countries of service, promoting outreach for international affairs at Yale, and learning from each other’s experiences. Our goals are:
- To “bring the world back home” (the Peace Corps Third Goal: “To promote a better understanding of other people on the part of the American people.”);
- To serve as a social network for RPCVs and friends;
- To assist the Peace Corps in its mission, including assisting prospective and new Peace Corps Volunteers.
