About Friends of Togo
Friends of Togo (FOT) is a not-for-profit organization operated solely by volunteer effort. The group, founded in 1981, is based in the Washington, DC area, and composed of RPCVs from Togo, their families, former Peace Corps Togo staff, and members of the Togolese community living in the USA. FOT’s main goal is to assist the Togolese people and Peace Corps Togo through financial support of projects, and to sponsor activities here in the US promoting Togo and bringing together those who hold the country and its people close to their hearts.
