About Friends of Botswana
Friends of Botswana was established in 1986 as a group of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers who wanted to stay connected to and keep informed about Botswana. It has remained affiliated since the early days with the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA), and it promoted networking with each other in the days before the internet. Among many other goals it seeks to promote understanding and friendship between America and Botswana. The Third Goal of Peace Corps to bring back knowledge of Botswana to America is still extremely important. We also hope to engage in more projects to support Botswana and the Batswana people.
