About Friends of Armenia
Friends Of Armenia is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity* led by an annually-elected Board of Directors. Friends Of Armenia was incorporated in 2009; this is our mission:
Friends Of Armenia, a nonprofit organization and member-group of the National Peace Corps Association, will support innovative, charitable projects in Armenia facilitated by Peace Corps Volunteers, foster community among its membership, and promote a better understanding among Americans of Armenia, its people and culture.
Our primary activities include annual cultural celebrations, fundraising campaign, and two grants programs. We also provide ongoing support and technical expertise to initiatives and causes we’ve identified as priorities for FOA assistance. We are confident that – with a strong and active membership- FOA can continue to accomplish its objectives in support of Armenia, Peace Corps, and the organization.
