CTRPCV is a regional affiliate of the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA). Our group communications are sent to about 200 members, most of whom are RPCVs. In addition to occasional informal social gatherings at local ethnic restaurants, we hold bimonthly social events with a speaker and potluck meal, and we also conduct bimonthly business meetings. About Chicago Area Peace Corps Association The Chicago Area Peace Corps Association serves the area of Chicago, Illinois and northwest Indiana. The group organizes community service events, job networking, RPCV support/mentoring and monthly ethnic dinners. CAPCA also donates thousands of dollars annual for Peace Corps Partnership Programs abroad led by Chicago area PCVs. Our biggest events of the year are the Story Slam (takes place during Peace Corps Week) and the Annual Fundraiser (takes place in October/November).
