ALERT! Peace Corps Funding Update (Wednesday, July 15th, 2:00 PM Eastern):
A short time ago, Representative Scott Perry (R-PA) chose not to pursue his proposed amendment which called for eliminating all $410.5 million proposed for the Peace Corps in FY 2027.
Thanks to all members and friends of the Peace Corps community who responded to this call to action. Approximately 10,000 messages from members and friends of the Peace Corps community reached out to virtually every House member in every state, to voice opposition to this amendment. Thank you for taking action and speaking out when Peace Corps’ future is threatened.
