Buffalo RPCVs A Towering Task Q&A

28 Feb 2021
3:00pm - 4:15pm EST

This has been a tumultuous year for the Peace Corps community with the onset of a global pandemic, the mass evacuation of all Peace Corps volunteers in the field, and issues of social justice that have caused the Peace Corps community to reflect inward. Buffalo Returned Peace Corps Volunteers invites you to join them in that reflection via a virtual film screening and Q&A of the documentary A Towering Task: The Story of the Peace Corps.

The event begins with participants viewing the documentary at their leisure followed by a discussion that focuses on how refugee and immigration issues impact Buffalo RPCVs and intersect with the ideals of the greater Peace Corps community as a whole. Watch the film on your own between February 27 and 28, and bring your questions and insights to the discussion to take place on Sunday, February 28 at 3:00 pm Eastern.

The film will be available to view for a 24 hour window beginning on February 27 using this link and the password: toweringBuffalo

Be sure to register for the event on this page to receive the zoom link for the Q&A!
