National Peace Corps Association Social Network
The National Peace Corps Association’s Social Network facilitates the Peace Corps community’s connections and information-sharing. The following groups address career issues:
Peace Corps Connect: Boston 2013
A key element of this first annual conference will focus on Jobs and helping RPCV’s manage their careers through networking events, panels, and meetings with recruiters in the Exhibit Hall. If you are an RPCV who wants to make connections to take your next step in changing the world. Stay tuned for registration information.
Join the Peace Corps Network group on LinkedIn. This group is moderated by the National Peace Corps Association and is open to serving and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers and staff. “Peace Corps” must appear in your profile in order to be approved. Don’t be fooled by the impostor groups!
Regional Career Events
Peace Corps’ Office of Third Goal and Returned Volunteer Services hosts free day-long career events for RPCVs wherever Peace Corps has a Regional Recruitment Office. Practice telling your professional Peace Corps story to a variety of audiences, connect with other returned Volunteers, explore ways to get involved in Peace Corps activities, and chat with local employers in the public, private, and nonprofit sector at a career fair.
Peace Corps also has information about job resources for RPCVs on its website.
