The COVID-19 pandemic is unprecedented in its impact around the globe and on the service of returning Volunteers from their Peace Corps countries. This traumatic interruption of service is certainly not the way a Peace Corps Volunteer (PCV) wants to end their service - unfinished projects, unsung farewells, and unsaid goodbyes.
We invite you to join our virtual town hall to learn what to expect and how you can best support your evacuated family member now and moving forward. We will do our best to listen to your concerns and address questions pertaining to the Peace Corps community response over the coming weeks and months.
We are an attentive and caring Peace Corps community that empathizes with those PCVs and awaits them with our collective embrace as they return home. We are tens of thousands of returned Peace Corps Volunteers (including many whose service was also cut short), former staff, host country nationals, family and friends who care deeply for them.
