About RPCVs for Environmental Action
The Returned Peace Corps Volunteers for Environmental Action (RPCV4EA) is open to all current or returned volunteers or friends who are interested in preventing and mitigating climate change, providing clean water and energy, and promoting sustainable development worldwide.
RPCV4EA hopes to leverage the collective knowledge and experience of RPCVs to make a lifelong commitment towards a positive global impact on environmental issues. Our varied and vibrant experiences in other countries directly informs our mission to support the members of the Peace Corps community concerned for the environment and the implications of climate change.
Our Mission:
We empower the Peace Corps community to act for climate solutions, to reverse environmental degradation, to promote sustainable development worldwide, and to advocate for action.
Products & Services
Our primary service is to amp up the call to action to work on climate change and environmental sustainability. We are all involved in many different action groups, from 350.org to Citizens Climate Lobby to local action groups. Let’s share our techniques, create new ones, and encourage others to take action.
