2010: RPCV Voices on a Better, Bolder Peace Corps

As many members of the Peace Corps community note, a successful Peace Corps is not simply bigger.  It must be better and bolder as well.  At the end of 2009 and early 2010, NPCA conducted a Better, Bolder Peace Corps survey. With more than 4,500 members of the Peace Corps community responding, we compiled the results into a report which was shared with congressional leaders and the Peace Corps.

In 2010, Peace Corps prepared an agency-wide assessment and strategic plan to consider how to improve its operations.  NPCA met on several occasions and shared the results of the survey – and individual comments – with the team that was charged with conducting the assessment.
