I served as a TEFL volunteer in Morocco from 1986 – 88. The third goal continues to be an important aspect of my life. A high school teacher, I incorporate the third goal daily.
I served as a NPCA Board Regional Director back in the days of the old Northwest Region (2001 – 2003). I reinstituted a system of rotating meetings throughout our region where local RPCVs came together to strategize on behalf of RPCVs. We still do this.
It is important for our voices to be heard. Representing RPCVs is an excuse to continue establishing relationships with West Coast RPCV groups.
