Harris Bostic II is the Senior Advisor to the Abyssinian Development Corporation.  In this role, he advises the CEO on developing strategies to implement ADC’s stated priorities to strengthen the infrastructure, diversify fundraising and revenue generation opportunities, and streamline expenses. Additionally, Harris has oversight of ADC’s Social Services, including workforce development, Senior Services, Abyssinian House, our Tier II transitional shelter, and Economic Literacy.

Prior to joining ADC, he worked in leadership positions for the William J. Clinton Foundation, American Red Cross, Peace Corps, Clinton-Gore’96, Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games and PaineWebber, Inc.

He has served as a Board of Director member of such organizations as Hostellers-International, World Affairs Council, British American Project, Habitat for Humanity, and Covenant Community, Inc.

He served in the Peace Corps in Guinea as a small business advisor. He then went on to join Peace Corps Staff as the Regional Director for Northern California, Nevada, and Hawaii from 1998-2005. He is a member of the NPCA affiliate group Atlanta Area RPCVs as well as a member of NPCA’s Director Circle.

Harris earned an MS degree in Public Policy from the Andrew Young School of Public Policy at Georgia State University and a BA degree in Business Administration from Morehouse College.

He currently resides in New York City.
