Los Angeles. San Antonio. Atlanta. Albany. Right now in twenty cities and twelve states, leaders of the Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV) community are at work seeking local meetings with their representatives in Congress in advance of the upcoming summer recess which is slated to run through August and into early September.
The number of RPCVs organizing such meetings is growing on almost a daily basis. As congressional appropriations committees are preparing to set their recommendations for Peace Corps funding for the upcoming fiscal year, and with several pieces of Peace Corps related legislation at various stages of progress, you can play a huge role in bringing your Peace Corps experience to our key decision makers.
