Our summer advocacy tour to connect with the Peace Corps community kicked off July 13th with a great gathering of more than 20 individuals in Orleans, Massachusetts
And…we’re off! National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) Advocacy is on the road for a series of workshops and informal get-togethers in big cities and small towns across the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions. Hope you can join us. Our upcoming stops include Manchester CT, Boston MA, St. Johnsbury VT, Brunswick ME, Glen Cove NY, New York NY, Princeton NJ and Bridgewater NJ. Please share the details below with others you know who might be interested in participating.

Coffee and Conversation: Stop by anytime between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Drop by for five minutes to say hello. Stay longer if you can. Connect with members of the local Peace Corps community. Meet National Peace Corps Association Advocacy Director Jonathan Pearson. Learn more about our advocacy efforts, and other upcoming NPCA activities. A special advocacy presentation will begin at 6:00 PM.
Friday, July 27th – Boston, Massachusetts

Advocacy Workshop: Returned Peace Corps Volunteers are respected and valuable voices on issues pertaining to the Peace Corps and other issues of global concern. Find out more about how the Peace Corps community has made a big difference in the past, and what you can do to make a difference in the future. Meet NPCA Advocacy Director Jonathan Pearson, learn and share some of the advocacy basics, and get connected to our growing and vibrant advocacy network. No previous advocacy experience is required for this workshop.

Following the workshop, join the Boston Area RPCVs at their once-a-month TGIF Happy Hour at Asgard, 350 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge.
