Record Signatures for Strong Peace Corps Funding
By Jonathan Pearson on Thursday, March 15th, 2012
Every year since 2005, members of the Senate and/or House of Representatives have been given the opportunity to show their support for strong funding for the Peace Corps during the month of March by signing onto so-called Dear Colleague letters.

This year, a record 160 Senators and Congressmen/women signed letters urging strong funding support for the Peace Corps. That slightly exceeds the collective 156 signatures in 2010.
