Congressional leaders need to hear from you!

As 2011 comes to a close the Peace Corps budget for Fiscal Year 2012 has yet to be finalized. Both the Senate and House Appropriations Committees Subcommittees for State/Foreign Operations have recommended that Peace Corps funding to remain at just over $374 million for Fiscal Year 2012.  If you want to ensure the continued success of the Peace Corps please contact your lawmakers and ask them to support strong funding for the Peace Corps.

Also don’t forget to check out the newly revamped Advocacy State Resources. The resources include detailed information of lawmakers’ records on supporting Peace Corps issues, key contact information, committee assignments and more.
