Spring 2010 WorldView Lesson Plan: Food and Us

The Spring 2010 issue of WorldView magazine is now out, focusing on agriculture and food security. This issue’s lesson plan, Food and Us: Gardening Locally and Globally by Angene Wilson is based on the articles “Food Sovereignty” by Kyle Freund and “It Takes a Community to Raise a Garden” by JoAnna Haugen, which are available in their entirety here. The lesson emphasizes the importance of gardening on both local and global levels and encourages students to become involved in local agriculture.
